Newington History Group meet in the Methodist Church Hall every 2nd Thursday in the month, with the exception of January and August.
Meetings include speakers, both local and of a wider network, plus time for news questions or discussion. Local stories are of a major interest and any help with research and collating information is always useful.
The aim of the group is to record and promote the history of Newington and its environs or related subjects, by research, study and publication. Newington History Group has its own website which can be found here
